Stunt Bike Riding – From Dream to Job
Danny: I kind of progressed into sort of trial riding, you know, when I was a kid. I dunno (don’t know) if it was the best way to try to get girls or anything like that, you know. I can’t say that, come on. I can’t you… know.
Danny: Yo como que avanzaba en una especia de prueba en la cicla, ya sabes, cuando era niño. No sé si era la mejor forma de conquistar chicas o algo así, ya sabes. No puedo decir eso, vamos. No puedo… sabes.
Well the video that we put on YouTube about autumn 2008, we started filming it and with my flat mate Dave Sowerby. We made the video with absolutely no expectation. You know, like we were both really into the project and that’s all I would think about when I went to bed at night. But we never in a million years imagined that it would be, you know, all over the place.
Pues el video que pusimos en YouTube en Otoño del 2008, lo comenzamos a filmar con mi compañero de vivienda Dave Sowerby. Hicimos el video sin ninguna expectativa en lo absoluto. Ya sabes, los dos simplemente estabamos comprometidos con el proyecto y eso era en todo lo que pensaba cuando iba a la cama en la noche. Pero nunca imaginamos que estaría, ya sabes, en todas partes.
We really made it for ourselves. There was no such funding behind it or anything like that. We just made it for fun. Pretty much the next day I actually had like the BBC phoning me up and all sorts of newspapers, cuz (because) over night it had a few hundred thousand views or something like that.
Realmente lo hicimos para nosotros. No había tal financiación o nada por el estilo. Solo lo hicimos por diversión. Casi que al día siguiente recibí una llamada de la BBC y un montón de periódicos, porque de la noche a la mañana tuvimos unos cuantos miles de visitas o algo así.
It’s been really unbelievable how many people have seen it all over the world and the kind of reaction it’s had.
Ha sido increible cómo tantas personas lo han visto de todo el mundo y la reacción que ha tenido.

I’m so lucky that the video’s gone out to so many people, and you know, now I get to do this as my job. So I don’t really know how I ended up here but it’s been a very fun time.
Soy muy afortunado de que el video haya llegado a tanta gente, y ya sabes, ahora puedo hacer esto como mi trabajo. Así que no entiendo cómo terminé aquí pero ha sido un tiempo muy divertido.
It’s been really unbelievable. Um, yeah, hopefully we can go on to make some bigger and better things in the future as well. That’s my main goal.
